We now have a working, James Henry 4-piece band, comprising the following members: James Henry – vocals and guitars; George Moore – keyboards & charts; Paul Gregory – drums; Nathan Feddo – honorary bass. The position of bass player is somewhat in flux at the moment, but for now Nathan has it. All the musicians in the band are damned good and I’d strongly advise you to check them out as soon as you can. Those in the Kilburn area of London last Wednesday (7 July 2010) who wandered into Powers Bar will have already done so. On a pretty small stage, we played a set of about 35 minutes length, including titles from both “Overspill” & “Sweetener” albums, and one of the songs was captured on a mobile by the promoter’s assistant Mario. I have to thank the house engineer, Colm (I think that’s the right spelling), for giving us a good sound onstage without having the faintest idea beforehand what we were about. Anyway, the band has another albeit shorter spot booked at The Bedford in Balham on Mon 19 July, with a gig at The Half Moon in Putney scheduled for Thu 29 July (here, we’re getting 45 minutes). It would be great to see plenty of James Henry fans down at both!
